About This Course

Understand the legal requirements, procedures, and responsibilities under India's POSH Act 2013. Learn to recognize, prevent, and report sexual harassment while building an ally-driven workplace culture.

Course Modules

1

Module 1: The Foundation — Why POSH Matters

Understand why the POSH Act exists and who it protects. Trace the journey from the Bhanwari Devi case through the Vishaka Guidelines to the 2013 Act, and learn how broadly the law defines 'workplace.'

2

Module 2: Decoding Sexual Harassment

Learn to identify all 5 categories of sexual harassment under Section 2(n). Understand why impact matters more than intent, and recognise modern digital harassment patterns.

3

Module 3: Redressal & The Internal Committee

Know your Internal Committee — who sits on it, what powers it has, and how to file a complaint. Understand conciliation vs. formal inquiry, timelines, and your protections under the Act.

4

Module 4: Being an Active Ally

Move from knowing the law to building the culture. Master the 5D bystander intervention framework and learn respectful professional communication that prevents harassment before it starts.

5

Module 5: Applicability Across Workplaces

Translate Section 2(o) and Section 19(g) into the workplace you actually work in — hospital wards, mall floors, factory lines, field-sales routes, BPO night shifts, and gig platforms. Three sub-modules. Three lenses. One law that already covers all of them.

6

Knowledge Assessment

Prove your mastery across all 4 foundation modules with a 10-question scenario-based assessment. Score 80% or higher to earn your POSH Certified Employee certificate.

7

Module 7: Scenarios in Practice

Five real situations. Five roles you might find yourself in. Step into each as the person living the moment — complainant, bystander, manager, IC member, gig worker — and rehearse the decisions that turn the law from theory into muscle memory.
